Position Overview
They are looking for a seasoned and results-driven General Manager of Finance to lead their finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of overall finance experience, including at least 5 years of controllership experience. The role requires a deep understanding of both Indian and international accounting environments, as well as the ability to manage a diverse team of 15 professionals. This position reports to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage and oversee all aspects of the finance function, including audit, taxation, and banking operations.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the executive team, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
- Ensure compliance with both Indian and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement adequate financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Works Accountant (CWA) qualification is preferred.
- Extensive exposure to both Indian and international accounting environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex audit, taxation, and banking processes independently
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Oracle will be a plus.
